This couple celebrated their love with 200 guests at Island Resort Athens Riviera, choosing the venue’s private house for its modern architecture, open spaces, and breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea. Inspired by their Palestinian roots and Greek heritage, the design embraced quiet luxury, contemporary minimalism, and sculptural elegance, with a natural palette of white, sage green, beige, and earthy tones.

White calla lilies were the only florals used throughout the celebration, symbolizing purity, faithfulness, and new beginnings. Their sculptural beauty became a defining element of the wedding, reflecting the couple’s story through a refined and meaningful design. The ceremony took place in a Greek Orthodox church by the sea, officiated by an Arabic-speaking priest, with two asymmetrical arches of grasses and white calla lilies framing the entrance.

Cocktail hour featured contemporary white lounge furniture, iconic Panton chairs, and a sculptural seating chart made of eight transparent plexiglass pillars filled with soft white tulle, reminiscent of the bride’s veil, each accented with calla lily vases.

Dinner was set across round tables, encouraging connection and conversation beneath geometric star- and diamond-shaped lighting installations. Elegant tablescapes combined customized gauze linens, beige stone table numbers symbolizing the strength of marriage, transparent Panton chairs, white sand candles, and single calla lilies in silver holders. The gauze fabric also carried a reference to the couple’s Palestinian heritage, connecting the design to the historic city of Gaza.

Guests enjoyed a refined Mediterranean dining experience, accompanied by Greek wines and signature cocktails, while personalized mini bottles of Roots Mastiha served as meaningful wedding favors.

The evening continued with a lively Greek Zorba dance, bringing almost every guest onto the dance floor, followed by a celebration around an illuminated marble-topped bar, with Greek gyros served as a late-night treat.

A celebration where two cultures, personal symbolism, and contemporary design came together effortlessly, C & S’s Athens Riviera wedding was a beautiful reflection of their heritage, love, and shared story.
