This couple celebrated their love with 100 guests from around the world in a breathtaking, multicultural wedding set in the historic ruins of an ancient Franciscan monastery in Segovia, Spain. This unique venue, steeped in over 800 years of history and known as the former Convent of San Francisco, provided an unforgettable backdrop just 70 minutes from Madrid.

The ceremony took place under the Spanish sun, with the majestic ruins as a backdrop. To keep guests cool, white parasols and Spanish fans were provided for the ladies, while the men donned stylish Spanish hats. The seating chart was creatively based on the couple's favorite plants, adding a personal touch to the event.

Floral decorations were minimal but impactful, with bold statement flowers arranged in antique transparent vases, allowing the venue’s natural beauty to shine. Guests were treated to a Spanish-style cocktail hour featuring jamón ibérico, an array of Spanish cheeses, and amuse-bouches, followed by an exquisite five-course dinner focusing on Spain’s finest fish and meats, crafted by an authentic Spanish catering team.

After dinner, a guitarist and percussionist smoothly transitioned guests to the party area, where they danced the night away to a mix of English, Spanish, Argentinian, Italian, and international music. A fun photo booth allowed guests to capture memories and leave heartfelt messages in the couple’s guestbook.

The couple surprised everyone with a stunning Argentine tango performance they had rehearsed with a professional dancer, bringing a special touch of Steffi’s Argentinian roots.

Another heartwarming surprise unfolded when the bride helped orchestrate a proposal between her sister’s boyfriend and her sister, making the evening even more unforgettable.
