Shades of Heaven: A Blossoming Destination Wedding Celebrated at a 13th-Century Flour Mill
This couple celebrated their love with 100 guests in a vibrant wedding at a 13th-century flour mill in Madrid, Spain.
This enchanting venue, lush with plants growing up its ancient walls, felt like stepping into a slice of heaven, where nature and history came together beautifully.
Their colorful vision came to life with an array of flowers—peonies, dahlias, craspedia, and more—in shades of pink, orange, yellow, and green, creating a cheerful, lively atmosphere.
The ceremony was officiated by a close friend, making the event deeply personal, with six bridesmaids and groomsmen dressed in coordinated shades of red, orange, and pink.
Afterward, guests wandered through the estate’s natural beauty, snapping photos with the estate’s horses on their way to the cocktail hour, where they enjoyed a flamenco-themed photo booth, fun games, and colorful hats for sun protection.
For the seating chart, we displayed Polaroid pictures of the couple with each guest, creating a personal touch with colorful clips on a wooden frame adorned with vibrant flowers and greenery. Next to it, a box was set up for guests to leave their heartfelt advice and wishes for the couple.
The reception featured round tables with bamboo chairs and vibrant napkins, while guests indulged in a market-style buffet with stations ranging from Spanish paella to Mexican, Asian & sea food stations. A Lebanese arak station was set up as a heartfelt tribute to the couple’s heritage.
The night continued with joyful Arabic, English, Spanish and French tunes, bubbles floating during the first dance, and a lively party that kept everyone dancing until 3am.
Thank you, Ludmilla & Anthony, for letting us be part of your stunning celebration—it was a joy to bring your vision to life!
